How nanoOne Is Being Tested Before Kickstarter

For ambitious hardware, a polished visualization is not enough. Before nanoOne® is presented as a production-ready product, the team is working through a structured validation program.
Mechanical drive
Testing examines whether the compact motor and gear architecture can move the brush modules consistently through repeated cycles. Torque, friction, alignment, wear and failure points are being reviewed as the mechanism evolves.
Brush motion and contact geometry
The full-arch concept is being refined around controlled contact with multiple tooth surfaces. Brush count, filament geometry, motion profile and cycle duration are development parameters, not final performance claims.
Fit and comfort
Different arch dimensions and insertion behavior must be evaluated before final sizing guidance is published. The clip system, flexible frame and mouthpiece geometry are being refined for practical insertion, stable positioning and comfort.
Electronics and charging
The development plan includes safe activation, power management, charging behavior, temperature monitoring and communication between hardware and future software. Battery endurance and charging time will be reported after repeatable testing.
Water resistance and hygiene
Sealing, cleaning access, moisture exposure and material selection are part of the production-intent validation plan. Dock-based light functions remain exploratory and will require product-specific testing and certification.
What we will publish
As testing progresses, Toothnology’s will share verified milestones, prototype footage and confirmed specifications. No clinical, therapeutic, sterilization or fixed cleaning-performance claim is made at the current stage.
