Why nanoOne Is Designed for a 5-Second Full-Arch Cleaning Cycle

nanoOne is currently in prototype development. This article reflects the project’s present status and avoids presenting development targets as proven product outcomes.
Parallel contact instead of sequential movement
A manual toothbrush cleans a limited area at a time. nanoOne is designed to place multiple cleaning elements around the teeth simultaneously, which creates the possibility of a much shorter automated cycle.
A target, not a proven outcome
The current development target is a short cleaning cycle, potentially around five seconds. This is an engineering goal, not a completed clinical claim. The final duration can change based on fit, motion, comfort, cleaning results and safety testing.
Validation decides the final specification
Toothnology’s will publish confirmed performance figures only after representative prototypes have been evaluated under appropriate test conditions. Until then, all cycle times should be understood as development targets.
